There are three stages in the professionalization process for nurses, within which academic training and nursing science are developing. The evolution of initial training and the 2025 referential will require an integrative alternation that will reinforce skills. The professionalization of students should be based on the analysis of professional practices, in a caring and ecological environment for individuals.

The Olympic and Paralympic Games are a sporting event that welcomes more than ten thousand top-level athletes. These athletes require daily care before and after training and competition, but are also prone to serious injuries. The polyclinic, set up in the athletes\' village, will provide a wide range of high-quality care for the various delegations. Urgent care will be provided by the hospitals of the Assistance publique-Hôpitaux de Paris, which are responsible for the administration of the polyclinic.

In the context of the introduction of advanced practice nurses in emergency departments (APNs), the Collège de Médecine d\'Urgence du Nord-Pas-de-Calais teamed up with the Unité de Formation et de Recherche des Sciences de la Santé et du Sport at the University of Lille to conduct a survey of emergency department management teams, with the aim of gaining a better understanding of their needs. The results revealed a number of obstacles and levers to the implementation of APNs, and led to a better understanding of the patient pathways in these departments. As a result, the content of the university teaching program could be reviewed with a view to meeting the needs expressed in the field.

Nurses are omniscient in the French healthcare system. They are an essential link in the healthcare system, and their added value is unquestionable. The profession needs to be revamped to keep pace with current developments in nursing practices and the needs of the population.

We have developed a new tool specifically designed for nursing practice to identify these problems in patients with brain tumors. The Cognitive Impairment Assessment Questionnaire for nursing practice is an objective, quick and easy-to-administer tool that is readily accepted by patients.

With the rising incidence of sickle cell disease, this chronic pathology is becoming the most common genetic disease in France. Advances in care have led to a marked improvement in life expectancy. Caregivers in pediatric facilities are therefore increasingly confronted with the question of the transition to adulthood of the adolescents they have been following since birth. As nurses working in Robert-Debré\'s transfusion and curative medicine unit, in 2022, adolescents accounted for 57 % of sickle cell patients enrolled in our transfusion exchange program. Adolescence is a period of major change, and the repercussions of the disease are all the more pronounced. This raises the issue of transferring them to the adult sector.

The creation of Parkinson\'s expert centers (PEC) led to the emergence of new nurses, known as coordination nurses. And in 2018, the emergence of advanced practice nursing led to the creation of a new category of professionals, advanced practice nurses (APN). Nurses coordinators and APN play a major role in meeting the public health challenges posed by Parkinson\'s disease. They are the guarantors of the implementation of a personalized care pathway, the aim of which is to offer patients an optimized quality of life. They forge an indispensable link between the city\'s healthcare services and the PEC, collaborating with the many healthcare professionals who work with people suffering from Parkinson\'s disease.

To meet the care needs of heart failure patients, a nationwide cooperation protocol has been developed. This heart failure cooperation protocol (PCIC) enables nurses to acquire new skills by delegating medical acts.

The clinical practice of nursing sometimes leads to physically restraining the patient while carrying out a therapeutic or diagnostic procedure. This laconic observation says little about the many questions raised by the use of restraint on a person during treatment. The questions are professional, institutional, philosophical, ethical, legal and deontological. The role of the nurse in the decision to use coercion to provide care is preponderant, and the moral dilemmas that this decision provokes are most often carried out individually by the professionals.
