    Livestreaming e-commerce is a significant and effective digital tool for retailers to boost sales during the COVID-19 outbreak. Services on livestreaming platforms may be provided by either the manufacturer or the retailer. As service free riding across products becomes increasingly prevalent, the key issues retailers face include selecting which product should be promoted and who should provide service on the livestreaming channel. Using a game-theoretic framework, we investigate a retailer\'s optimal livestreaming service strategy that considers free riding between the retailer\'s store brand and a manufacturer\'s national brand. Our main findings are as follows. When service resources on the livestreaming channel are limited, (1) the retailer should not promote products with extremely low base demand, and (2) given that the national brand is promoted, if the two brands exhibit either very similar or significantly different features, the retailer should provide service for the national brand personally; otherwise, the retailer should delegate the service to the manufacturer. When livestreaming resources are unlimited, it may be unnecessary for the retailer to promote both brands if the store brand has a large base demand.

    The geography of suicide has been widely explored among the general population. However, little is known of the geographic variations in suicides among the older adults and their spatial correlates. This study aims to explore the spatial variations in the elderly suicide rates and their correlates in Hong Kong.
    Bayesian hierarchical models have been used to estimate smoothed standardized mortality ratios (2006-2015) on suicide in people aged 65 years or older in each geographic unit in Hong Kong. Their associations with the Social Vulnerability Index and the accessibility of eight types of services (ie, recreational services, rehabilitation services, food services, daily necessity services, community services, and transportation services) were further analyzed.
    The results suggested that compared with the simple \"inner-city high suicide rate and suburban low\" pattern in the Western studies and the \"central low suicide rate and peripheral high\" pattern in the Asian studies, the spatial variations of elderly suicides in Hong Kong exhibit a much more complicated pattern. In Hong Kong, higher elderly suicide clusters were found in both the lower-density areas located in the New Territories and in some inner-city areas. The spatial variations of suicide in the older adults cannot be explained by the Social Vulnerability Index. Instead, service provision such as recreational services, daily necessity resources, and community centers played a more significant role in affecting suicides in the older adults.
    Strengthening public services, providing more public spaces and activities, and making good use of the community resources might be key and efficient strategies in elderly suicide prevention in Hong Kong. Key points The spatial variations of elderly suicides in Hong Kong show a much more complicated pattern compared with the simple \"inner-city high suicide rate and suburban low\" pattern in the Western countries and the \"central low suicide rate and peripheral high\" pattern in some of the Asian countries. In Hong Kong, suicide rates in the city centers were not higher than the average in the city. Clusters of higher suicide rates were mainly found in the New Territories, which is somewhat disconnected from the city and, in some inner-city neighborhoods, with high-density population. The spatial variations of suicide in the older adults in Hong Kong cannot be explained by the neighborhood Social Vulnerability Index as in the existing literature. Neighborhood service provision such as recreational services, daily necessity resources, and community centers played a significant role in affecting suicides in the older adults in Hong Kong.

    The Internet of Things (IoT) is emerging as a new communication paradigm and has attracted a significant amount of attention from both academic and engineering communities. In this paper, we consider an IoT market where three roles exist: Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), two service providers (SPs) and end users. The WSNs are responsible for sensing and providing data to the two SPs. Based on the sensed data from WSNs, the two SPs compete to provide services to the end users. We model the relationship between the two SPs and end users as a two-stage Stackelberg game, where the two SPs set the prices for their services firstly, and then the end users decide which SP to choose. Specifically, we consider two price-competition scenarios of the two SPs, which are engaged in two games, one is a noncooperative strategic game (NSG) where the two SPs set the prices for services simultaneously, the other is a Stackelberg game (SG) where SP1 who sets the price first is the leader and SP2 who sets the price after is the follower. Each user decides whether and which SP to purchase services from based on prices and service rates. An equilibrium is achieved in each of the two scenarios. Numerical results are conducted to verify our theoretical analysis.

    Background The emergence of online health communities (OHCs) broadens and diversifies channels for patient-doctor interaction. In recent times, patient satisfaction has gained new attention within the context of OHCs where unique patterns are provided: a variety of services with unique attributes are available in OHCs for patients and doctors have the options of providing and pricing for different services. OHCs are given high hopes on improving medical efficiency and patient satisfaction. Knowing how these patterns in OHCs affect patient satisfaction is crucial for the development of OHCs and medical practices.
    An empirical research is conducted to examine the effects of provision and pricing of online services on patient satisfaction by analyzing data from 2309 doctors in a Chinese OHC.
    The results from this study provided empirical support, suggesting that service quantity positively influenced patient satisfaction. A non-linear correlation between service price and satisfaction was explored and results suggested an inverted U-shaped relationship. At the low price level, service price led to an increase in patient satisfaction, whereas the high price level (over 330 CNY/US$49) could have just the opposite effect. Importantly, we found that price difference between a doctor\'s different services significantly decreased patient satisfaction. A mediating effect was tested in post-hoc analyses, and results revealed that the impact of price difference on patient satisfaction was partially mediated by flexibility of service selection, and the mediating effect accounted for 28.6% of the total effect.
    Our results indicate that patient satisfaction can be improved by effectively providing and pricing services in OHCs. Specifically, doctors can offer different type services and charge within a reasonable range.

    BACKGROUND: This review outlines the development of China\'s primary care system, with implications for improving equitable health care.
    METHODS: Government documents, official statistics, and recent literature identified through systematic searches performed on NCBI PubMed.
    RESULTS: Community health centres (CHCs) are being developed as the major primary care provider in urban China, with laudable achievements. The road towards a strong primary care-led system is promising but challenging.
    RESULTS: The effectiveness in improving equitable care through the expansion of primary care workforce and redesign of the social medical insurance system warrants further exploration.
    CONCLUSIONS: Healthcare disparities exist in the health system wherein universal health coverage and gatekeepers have not yet been established.
    CONCLUSIONS: Future prospective studies should aim to provide solutions for strengthening the leading role of CHCs in providing equitable care in response to population ageing and multimorbidity challenges.

    BACKGROUND: Family-centred service (FCS) has become essential to parents of children with cerebral palsy (CP) and professionals in Chinese paediatric rehabilitation services. FCS practice meets the unique needs of the child and family, through facilitation of optimal service provision delivered by professionals, and ensures service systems to be flexible, appropriate and actively responsive to the family needs. Parents used the Measure of Processes of Care 20 (MPOC-20) questionnaire to evaluate and verify the efficacy of use in China. The aims of the present study were twofold: to assess the validity and reliability of the Chinese MPOC-20, and investigate the range of parents\' satisfaction with service provision in an FCS practice using the MPOC-20.
    METHODS: The Chinese MPOC-20 was selected to assess parent satisfaction with service provision of professionals in FCS practice. Participants were parents of children under 8 years of age with CP, who had received rehabilitation services between May 2012 and May 2013, and were receiving rehabilitation services in May 2013 at a hospital outpatient department and a rehabilitation centre.
    RESULTS: The reliability and validity of the Chinese MPOC-20 were confirmed. Parents evaluated FCS practice with the MPOC-20 survey. Respectful and supportive care was rated with the highest score and providing general information the lowest. Parents according to the data were dissatisfied with the lack of information.
    CONCLUSIONS: Parents fairly evaluated service provision of professionals in FCS practice with the Chinese MPOC-20. Professionals received feedback reports of parents, summaries of the inadequacy of service delivery, and developed and implemented ameliorated measures in the FCS policy to strive to provide exemplary service.
