    A conservative approach to restoration assists in preserving the remaining tooth structure of extensively destroyed vital teeth. This case report describes a single-appointment chairside technique for placement of ceramic restorations in posterior teeth. A patient presented for treatment of her mandibular right first molar, which had a fractured resin-based composite restoration. Due to the presence of vital pulp, extent of the restoration, and presence of caries in the tooth, the following treatment plan was proposed: placement of a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic onlay fabricated with a computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing workflow. After the dentist removed the restoration and performed selective caries removal, structural analysis guided the reduction of the buccal cusps. Immediate dentin sealing was performed with a 2-step self-etching adhesive system, and a 1-mm-thick layer of flowable resin-based composite was placed as a resin coating. A digital impression was obtained, the onlay restoration was designed, and a lithium disilicate block was milled and subsequently crystallized. When the onlay was completed, the tooth preparation was sandblasted, selectively etched, and coated with a universal adhesive. The intaglio surface of the onlay was cleaned and primed, the onlay was bonded with dual-cure resin cement, and occlusal adjustments were completed. Follow-up examinations at 1 and 4 months revealed the clinical success of the case. From start to finish, it takes approximately 2.5 hours to produce a single-appointment chairside restoration. The technique used in this case offers a fast-paced workflow that is comfortable and practical for the patient and provides a predictable clinical outcome without the need for a temporary restoration.

    BACKGROUND: The need to perform restorations with a natural appearance is one of the most challenging aspects of dentistry, and reproducing the colour of natural teeth in restorations is a clinical challenge due to the complex optical characteristics of dentition. Various procedures have been advocated in the literature to correct dental anomalies, particularly in the aesthetic region, such as tooth discoloration due to fluorosis or dentition spacing due to changes in tooth shape, such as peg laterals.
    METHODS: Veneer are one of the most commonly used treatment modalities in such cases. As the use of ceramics necessitates the use of more opaque restorative materials or different thickness, obtaining adequate results in terms of the final colour of the restoration becomes increasingly difficult. The purpose of this study is to present a clinical case of smile rehabilitation in the anterior region with facets made of lithium disilicate, with the goal of achieving colour uniformity and demonstrating the benefits and achieving smile aesthetics.
    UNASSIGNED: Technological advancement such as intraoral scanner for impression making have significant improved the success of prosthesis. This case report presents conservative and aesthetic procedure in the management of closing the space in maxillary anterior region using lithium disilicate laminate veneers with trios software.

    The present article reviews the literature regarding tetracycline staining of the dentition and its esthetic management. A total of 49 articles were identified in the initial search, and 22 articles met the eligibility criteria of this narrative literature review. Tetracycline staining results from its use in children between the ages of 6 months and 6 years, when tooth crowns are formed; the effects are dependent on the dosage, duration of treatment, stage of tooth mineralization, and activity of the mineralization process. Tooth bleaching is always the first treatment option for low-grade cases of tetracycline staining. Restorative procedures are indicated for severe staining. The article also describes the treatment of severe staining affecting the maxillary anterior dentition of a 48-year-old man who reported the systemic administration of tetracycline during childhood. Direct composite resin laminate veneers were proposed to achieve immediate, highly esthetic restorations. A combination of different resinous materials in different shades was applied to meet the needs of the patient. The use of direct composite resin laminate veneers satisfied the functional and esthetic demands of the patient at a lower cost than ceramic materials.

    BACKGROUND: Structural abnormalities or anomalies in the anterior teeth, also known as the aesthetic zone, are an important problem for patients and a challenge for dentists. Structural abnormalities or tooth anomalies can change in color, shape, and function. Most dentists prefer minimally invasive aesthetic treatment. One of the aesthetic treatment options for anterior teeth is veneers. Veneer is a restoration that covers the labial part of the tooth with a thin layer of material to correct abnormalities in the color, shape, or function of the tooth. Veneer restoration can be done indirectly with porcelain material made in a laboratory and directly with composite material on the tooth surface or prefabricated which is available from the factory. Componeer is a prefabricated composite veneer that combines the aesthetic properties of ceramic veneers and the adhesive ability of composite veneers to the tooth structure. This case report describes the treatment of two central incisors that had been filled with composite and peg shapes on both lateral incisors using a componeer.
    METHODS: A 32-year-old female patient came to the Dental Conservation Clinic at Dentistry Hospital, Padjadjaran University with the main complaint of her right and left upper front teeth and wanted to repair her old fillings and close the gap between her right and left upper front teeth and her canine teeth. Clinical examination showed that teeth 11 and 21 had been filled with composite which had changed color and had an inharmonious shape as well as a gap between the upper front teeth on the right and left sides and the right and left canine teeth.
    METHODS: The maxilla and mandibular teeth are molded for study models and working models. In the working model, a wax-up is carried out, then a mock-up on the patient\'s teeth. Next, choose the color and size of the components that match the mock up results. Teeth 11 and 21 had their old composite fillings cleaned and refilled with dentin colored composite, teeth 13, 12, 11, 21, 22, and 23 were prepared with a minimum thickness of 0.3 mm to make room for the componeer material. The teeth was etched and bonded, and bonding was applied to the inner surface of the componeer. The composite is placed on the inner surface of the componeer then placed on the labial surface of the tooth and pressed with a special tool, then light cured. The final step is polishing.
    UNASSIGNED: Teeth 13, 12, 11, 21, 22, and 23 which had undergone veneer treatment using componeer, were controlled after 1 week of treatment. The patient did not complain about the results of the treatment and said he was satisfied with the treatment.

    Over exposure to high amount of fluoride during the development of enamel leads to fluorosis. Dental fluorosis is considered to be the most common color disorders of the enamel. It presents with different clinical signs on the enamel of the patients. The diagnosis of dental fluorosis is very challenging in the clinical practice since the enamel defects could be confusing. This case report presented two cases and their treatment for different grades of dental fluorosis to improve the esthetic appearance of the teeth.     OBJECTIVE: Traditional and modern-day laboratory techniques can be used to mask vital and non-vital discolored teeth.
    METHODS: Two clinical case reports are presented showing different treatment approaches to differing clinical scenarios of partial coverage veneer and full coverage crown restorations, respectively.
    CONCLUSIONS: Feldspathic ceramics should be considered when customization of stump shade correction and equalization is required with minimum facial reduction with veneer restorations. Translucent zirconia (5 mol% Y2 O3 ) can be used to mask metal posts and core restorations on non-vital teeth using an opaquer material that is infused into the intaglio surface in the green state.
    CONCLUSIONS: Different clinical scenarios will present to the clinician in regard to discolored stump shades where understanding what laboratory material treatment options are available that will help guide definitive restoration types and ultimately tooth preparation design.

    The non-surgical treatment of adult concave deformity can be achieved by interdisciplinary solution, which includes condylar relocation, fixed orthodontic, and functional occlusion smile design anterior prosthesis. In this study, an adult patient with concave deformity were treated by maxillary occlusal splint, conventional fixed brackets, and upper anterior teeth porcelain veneers to lead mandibular condyle to centric relation, to correct the dental arches for functional occlusion, and to gain the final desired esthetic achievement after treatments.

    This article reports a case of maxillary rehabilitation with implant-supported fixed dental prostheses on six zirconia implants. A woman with impacted maxillary canines attended our dental clinic seeking a metal-free maxillary restoration. After the extraction of both impacted maxillary canines and the placement of autogenous bone graft, six two-piece zirconia implants with straight abutments were placed in the anterior maxilla. Two zirconia fixed dental prostheses with porcelain veneering, separated at the midline, were placed on these zirconia implants. The 10-year follow-up monitored the adequate evolution of both implants and restorations with no signs of peri-implant disease.

    There is a lack of reports in the literature on the long-term clinical performance of ultratranslucent zirconia, especially considering its use in manufacturing monolithic veneers. The purpose of this case series is to describe the aesthetic treatment steps of three patients with minimally invasive ultratranslucent zirconia veneers and to report the clinical findings up to five years. Three patients (woman: 2, man: 1; mean age: 30 years) unsatisfied with their dental aesthetics sought dental treatment. The treatment plan involved cementing ultratranslucent zirconia veneers. Air-abrasion was performed on the internal surface of zirconia with alumina particles coated by silica (silicatization), followed by silane and adhesive applications for the adhesive cementation. All veneers were adhesively cemented to enamel with resin cement (Variolink Esthetic, Ivoclar). The patients were clinically evaluated annually considering the Ryge modified/ California Dental Association criteria. After a mean follow-up of 4.33 years (4-5 years), a survival rate of 100% was detected for the 28 minimally invasive ultratranslucent zirconia veneers cemented in the 3 patients. There were no absolute failures such as debonding, veneer fracture, or secondary caries. Superficial marginal discoloration was observed in one element (maxillary left lateral incisor) of one patient. Ultratranslucent zirconia is a viable option for manufacturing veneers due to its excellent clinical performance and longevity. However, further long-term clinical studies are essential to consolidate this material as an option for esthetic restorations.

    The use of dental ceramics on anterior teeth is associated with predictable and long-lasting esthetic results. However, treatment on darkened substrates is challenging. Various conservative options, including ceramic veneers, are available to change the shape and color of anterior teeth. The aim of this case report is to describe the esthetic rehabilitation of a darkened central incisor in a maxillary anterior region that had irregular gingival contours, multiple composite resin restorations, and unsatisfactory tooth shapes. Harmony was restored through periodontal recontouring surgery, placement of a lithium disilicate crown (consisting of a veneer cemented to a coping) on the darkened central incisor, and placement of lithium disilicate veneers on the other maxillary anterior teeth.
