Today, we are witnessing the emergence of a nursing discipline that is clearly seeking to base its legitimacy primarily on science. However, only an epistemological approach can assure us of the relevance of such an approach. While the nursing discipline must unquestionably be based on a rational, scientific approach, can we not nevertheless assume that an irreducible element of mystery will forever remain at the heart of care?

While it\'s obvious these days to turn to a healthcare professional in the event of suffering, it\'s less so when the caregiver (or family) accompanying a sick person is experiencing difficulties. Indeed, those close to the patient often don\'t think about seeking help, or don\'t know where to turn for support. This article looks at the situation of Mr. N., his journey and the questions raised by the new role he has taken on, and describes the work of the mobile caregiver support team. Through its consultations, this team aims to promote caregiver health through prevention.

Expected for many months, even years, the reform of the nursing profession is on its way. However, it will be necessary to determine which gradation of the evolution of competences will be arbitrated in order to guarantee the conceptual acceptance of the approach by all the actors and to answer the modernized stakes of the nurse\'s role. The subject of a renewed elaboration of the decree of acts dating from 2004 remains at the heart of the debates. But on what legal basis will it be necessary from now on to recognize and develop the disciplinary field of nursing sciences? A decree on competencies and a definition of the profession by mission are the first avenues suggested. The possibility of a national license, replacing the degree, should also be discussed during the work on training, with a view to establishing the academic branch of the discipline.

Changes in nursing education are closely linked to changes in the health care system. The nursing profession must indeed continue to occupy a pivotal position within the health system and its representatives must be able to continue their studies to complement their nursing skills with other disciplines. This will require the issuance of a \"real\" nursing degree by the university and the updating of the students\' referential, so that it is consistent with the development of the profession and the work in interprofessionality.

Advanced nursing practice is one of the avenues proposed by politicians to meet the new needs of people being cared for in a rapidly changing healthcare system. It is therefore interesting to conceptualize the theoretical foundations of these new practices, in order to reveal their meaning. To do this, we will discuss some of the missions of the advanced practice nurse, whose primary objective is to provide high-quality care. We will then demonstrate that the evolution of nursing care, which allows professionals to deploy their skills and gain in responsibility, is indeed at the service of the cared-for person.

The importance of the family members of those being cared for has been more recognized for about twenty years. However, if there is a literature on the subject, the latter does not exist in the scientific sense. Proposition to conceptualize the notion of the family caregiver based on the nursing sciences.
