Introducing patient partnership in mental health and psychiatry to initial training is an innovative way of promoting recovery, while at the same time highlighting the undeniable contribution of peer support within healthcare teams, in order to accompany the people concerned. This is why Croix-Rouge Compétence Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is developing a specific training program for trainees.

Simulated practice is a pedagogical tool that invites students to immerse themselves in scenarios close to reality. It confronts them with experiential learning while giving them the opportunity to explore and deconstruct what they have experienced in a distanced and group-based manner during debriefings. Simulation is a recognized tool for continuing professional development, but it is difficult for it to become established in the context of initial training. Its implementation requires certain human and financial resources.

There are dozens of healthcare professions. All of them are involved in patient care and most of them work in multidisciplinary teams. In a world of health care in crisis, nurses and medical electroradiology manipulators (MERM) must work together more than ever to contribute to the optimization of care. This starts with the initial training of both in the training institutes and on the training grounds.

Since the establishment of the reform of medical studies\' third cycle in 2017, the first two residency semesters define the \"phase socle\" whose objective is to provide the basic knowledge of the specialty. We have carried out a declarative survey, submitted in 2020 to all French residents in Oncology whose \"phase socle\" had taken place during the first 3 years of the reform. The main objectives of this survey were to evaluate the theoretical teaching of oncology as well as the practical hospital training provided during this phase. The response rate was 44% (among 355 residents, 155 answered). In terms of theoretical training, the level of satisfaction with the national teaching courses of the Collège National des Enseignants en Cancérologie and the distant learning courses on the SIDES-NG platform was considered satisfactory (average visual analog scale of 6.7/10 and 5.7/10, respectively). There was greater heterogeneity in the organization of local courses, of which only 50% of base phase residents benefited. In terms of practical training, the training value of the medical oncology and radiation oncology residencies was good (visual analogue scale 7.9/10 and 6.7/10, respectively), with educational objectives adapted to the base phase, but with a greater workload for medical oncology. This study provides feedback that shows the success of this reform in oncology. It also offers suggestions, which could be the basis to improve the formation of oncology residents.

In their daily practice, caregivers experience many different smells that evoke different emotions. However, the role of the sense of smell in care is poorly documented in the nursing literature. During initial training, trainers organise support, including with regard to odours, so that each future carer becomes a reflective practitioner, as adaptable as possible.

The initial nursing training framework offers the opportunity to build a teaching program that will lay the foundations of an eco-citizen care giving practice. With evolving content, and in light of climatic contingencies and the need to adapt to emerging pathologies, these courses must make sustainable development, associated with hygiene and safety, a new professional imperative in the care giving system.

The home visit is a nursing practice more particularly developed within the framework of the medico-psychological centre. Going to the patient\'s home to ensure continuity of care is not an easy task. Although approached in a nursing training institute, it cannot be learned. Clinical situations are sometimes explosive or disconcerting, undermining the helpless and inadequately prepared nurse. Supervision of nursing practices can be life-saving and allow everyone to make sense of clinical situations. Feedback from experience.

Supporting the professionalisation of student nurses through the approach of the body. When student nurses begin their training, their approach to others\' bodies is shaped by social norms. This relationship changes through their studies and their practice placements, until they become qualified professionals. Becoming a caregiver requires them to change their relationship with the body. How does the training support students in the transformations of their representations, enabling them to be competent in the nurse-patient relationship within the other person\'s private sphere?

Directed towards the construction of knowledge by the student, the teaching methods proposed in initial nursing education are based on humanistic values open to the diversity of situations experienced by people being cared for. According to this approach, a nursing training institute in Saône-et-Loire shares its experience on an original teaching approach linked to the theme of disability.

2017 was the year during which France has seen the amendment of the 3rd cycle of medical education. Three new steps have been uploaded: \"basement\", \"in depth\", and \"liability\". The latter has been particularly discussed as it is really close to the former post-graduate state. Nephrology has always been a very attractive discipline. While most others have been increased in terms of length in initial medical education, nephrology has been assigned to 4 years. Altogether, nephrologists whatever their generation have led a series of questionnaires we report here. From 3 of them, we had new data providing insights regarding both their feeling and knowledge about this amendment. Globally, they dissatisfy whatever the considered generation and they propose different modifications. The upcoming generation especially wants more options and tailored initial formation when older nephrologists are more prone to require one additional year for all. Whatever is chosen by state institutions, representative associations such as SNIN, CJN, and CUEN should act together as spokeperson to disseminate both nephrologists\' wishes and information about what is coming.
