    Cognitive engagement is a crucial factor that shapes successful learning outcomes, but our understanding of the factors that influence such engagement in the smart classroom context remains limited. This study aims to narrow this research gap by exploring the relationships among college students\' perceptions of the smart learning environment, perceived usefulness of mobile technology, achievement emotions, and cognitive engagement. A total of 1293 college students completed an online questionnaire survey, and 1076 valid responses were received. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the interrelationships among these factors. The results revealed that students\' perceptions of the smart classroom environment and perceived usefulness of mobile technology as well as two achievement emotions (pride and anxiety) significantly impact cognitive engagement. Both pride and anxiety act as mediators in the relationships among perceptions of smart classroom environments, the perceived usefulness of mobile technology, and cognitive engagement, in which context the mediating effect of pride is stronger than that of anxiety. These findings have practical implications for instructors, who should focus on implementing strategies that promote positive achievement emotions when students use mobile technology in smart classrooms. Additionally, these findings can inform the design and construction of smart classroom environments. Moreover, our study has limitations due to reliance on online data collection and self-reported data, which may introduce biases and measurement errors. Future research should incorporate multimodal data and advanced technologies for a comprehensive assessment to better understand students\' engagement in smart learning environments, while also considering individual factors and the educational context to enhance the effectiveness of mobile technology in supporting students\' emotions and achievement.

    UNASSIGNED: The aim of this article was to review existing documents in the field of mobile-based EMA and EMI, provide an overview of current hot topics, and predict future development trends.
    UNASSIGNED: We conducted a bibliometric study on mobile-based EMA and EMI publications that were collected from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Biblioshiny and CiteSpace were utilized to analyze scientific productions, leading sources, authors, affiliations, documents, research hot topics, keywords, and trend topics.
    UNASSIGNED: A total of 2222 documents related to EMA and EMI published between 1992 and 2023 were retrieved. In recent years, scholarly publications have generally increased in mobile-based EMA and EMI research, particularly in the last decade. JMIR mHealth and uHealth (n=86), as well as JMIR (n=73), showed the highest number of publications. The United States (n=1038), Germany (n=218) and Netherlands (n=175) were leading countries. Regarding keyword co-occurrence and trend topics analysis, mental health, health behaviors, and feasibility were hot topics in mobile-based EMA and EMI research. Future research trends included using EMA for tailoring EMI, just-in-time adaptive interventions (JITAI), and digital phenotyping.
    UNASSIGNED: This bibliometric study on mobile-based EMA and EMI is a valuable resource for understanding the field\'s evolution and future trends. Our analysis indicates that EMA and EMI have great potential in health behaviors and mental health, but implementation should consider feasibility and reactivity issues carefully. Emerging trends include EMA-tailored EMI, JITAI, and digital phenotyping. In the future, strengthening multidisciplinary cooperation will be necessary to promote the continued development of the field.

    OBJECTIVE: This study proposes to identify and validate weighted sensor stream signatures that predict near-term risk of a major depressive episode and future mood among healthcare workers in Kenya.
    METHODS: The study will deploy a mobile application (app) platform and use novel data science analytic approaches (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) to identifying predictors of mental health disorders among 500 randomly sampled healthcare workers from five healthcare facilities in Nairobi, Kenya.
    UNASSIGNED: This study will lay the basis for creating agile and scalable systems for rapid diagnostics that could inform precise interventions for mitigating depression and ensure a healthy, resilient healthcare workforce to develop sustainable economic growth in Kenya, East Africa, and ultimately neighboring countries in sub-Saharan Africa. This protocol paper provides an opportunity to share the planned study implementation methods and approaches.
    CONCLUSIONS: A mobile technology platform that is scalable and can be used to understand and improve mental health outcomes is of critical importance.

    Drug closed-loop management reflects the level of hospital management and pharmacist service. It is a challenge for hospital pharmacists to realize the whole-process closed-loop management of drugs in hospital pharmacies. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the operational effect of using mobile technology to build a closed-loop drug management system.
    Using mobile technology, replacing the traditional paper dispensing model and constructing a multinode information collection system according to the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Standard, we reformed the hospital information system and inpatient pharmacy workflow and then evaluated the new approach using statistical methods.
    After the transformation, the entire process of drug data can be traced. Closed-loop management, as well as real-time data verification and control, thereby improves the work efficiency and reduces the drug dispensing time. By reducing the work error rate, the number of dispensing errors decreased from 5 to 1 case/month. The comprehensive dispensing process can achieve the whole workflow of paperless operation and reduce the use of paper A4 by 180,000 pieces per year.
    Mobile technology can improve the service level of pharmacies, enhance the level of drug management and hospital quality management, ensure the safety of medication for inpatients, and significantly reduce the amount of paper used.

    Smartphones are not only multifunctional tools but also users\' personal extensions and identity symbols, as they are constantly with users and highly visible to the public while in use. Due to this public property as well as the close bond between smartphones and users, they are frequently used for personal identity expression besides functional purposes. The current study conceptualizes such behavior as symbolic use and aims to understand it. Anchoring on the attachment theory, mobile identity is postulated as an important antecedent of symbolic use. Mobile identity in turn is formed by mobile symbolism and mobile design esthetics. The research model was tested by a hybrid of both online and offline survey with 271 valid responses. SEM analysis was used to test the research model and SPSS was used for descriptive statistics. The results confirmed the role of mobile identity in affecting smartphone symbolic use. Additionally, individual materialism was confirmed as a moderator using hierarchical analysis. By defining and explaining smartphone symbolic use, this study clarifies the unique characteristics of the smartphone usage context as compared to non-portable technologies, thereby enriching the mobile usage literature and the application of attachment theory. It also defines the boundary condition of attachment formation by studying the contingent role of individual characteristics.

    Despite evidence showing that continued smoking in patients with non-communicable diseases can reduce treatment efficacy and increase the risk of disease progression and multimorbidity, many smoker patients either have no intention to quit or have had failed attempts at quitting.
    To examine the feasibility of a general health promotion approach that uses instant messaging to deliver brief motivational interviewing to help smokers with non-communicable diseases quit smoking.
    In total, 60 participants who had medical follow-up in a special out-patient clinic were randomized into two groups, 30 in the intervention group received brief motivational interviewing to assist them with their chosen behavioral changes, and 30 in the control group received only a smoking cessation booklet. The outcome measures included self-reported 7-day point prevalence of smoking abstinence and any behavioral change reported by the participants at 6 and 12 months. Biochemical validation was performed for those who verbally reported a 7-day point prevalence of smoking abstinence at 12 months.
    The majority (95%) of smokers who attended the out-patient clinic owned a smartphone. The response rate was 73.2%. Retention rates at 6-month and 12-month follow-up were 83.3 and 71.7%, respectively. The process evaluation indicated that participants were satisfied with the content of the brief MI messages and appreciated the use of instant messaging as a way to provide them with professional advice and support for managing their health-related lifestyles. The intervention group had a higher biochemically validated abstinence rate than the control group at 12 months (16.7 vs. 6.7 P = 0.23) although the difference was not statistically significant (Adjusted odd ratio 2.4, 95% confidence interval, 0.43-13.75; P = 0.32.), In addition, the proportion of participants reporting a behavioral change was higher in the intervention group at 6 and 12 months.
    This study suggested the potential efficacy and feasibility of a general health promotion approach that uses instant messaging to deliver brief motivational interviewing to help smokers with non-communicable diseases quit smoking. The findings can be used to create a new smoking cessation service model that implements a flexible, proactive and personalized approach to help smokers quit smoking.

    Mobile health (m-health) application development and diffusion in developing countries have always been a challenge; therefore, research that seeks to provide an elucidation of the drivers of m-Health adoption is vital. Mobile health information systems and applications can contribute to the delivery of a good healthcare system. This study examined the factors influencing citizens\' adoption of mobile health services. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was used as the research underpinning for this study, while the data gathered were analyzed with SmartPLS through the use of the structural equation modeling technique. The results showed that perceived usefulness and ease of use were both significant predictors of the behavioral intention to use and recommend the adoption of mobile health services. Also, perceived risk was negative but significant in predicting the intention to use and recommend adoption. Mobile self-efficacy was found to significantly determine the behavioral intention to use, intention to recommend, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use of mobile health services. Besides, word-of-mouth showed a positive impact on both the intention to use and recommend. Contrary to expectations, the intention to use had no significant impact on the recommendation intention. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings are thoroughly examined.

    Many firms in the modern world utilize m-banking systems to communicate with their consumers. The word m-banking refers to a widespread method of providing financial services and localization to customers. Since m-banking is important to both banks and users, it has been included in numerous literary works. As a result, embracing financial services via the m-banking platform is critical. This article\'s technique is mostly descriptive research that investigates common views, current situations, modern tactics, tangible emerging consequences, etc. The main objective here is to analyze the benefits of this study by investigating the past. Since this article analyzes what exists and is descriptive, the data is being retrieved by conducting a cross-sectional survey method about different features that are relevant by sampling the population. The main aim of this study is to explore the adoption of mobile banking technology by consumers. Based on the values of different variables such as affective commitment (AC), transaction convenience (TC), perceived ease of use (PEU), perceived reliability (PR), pre and post benefits (PPB), service, system, and information quality (SSIQ), bank trust (BT), and profitability (P), the inter-relationship between them and the adoption of m-banking technique by the users in banking technology. The model is investigated by examining the hypothesis and identifying the relationship that exists between these different parameters. A simple linear regression method is implemented using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software.
