{Abstract}: <B>BACKGROUND: </B>Hydatidosis is an anthropozoonosis due to the development in humans of the larval form of Echinococcus granulosus and is endemic in many countries of the Mediterranean region such as Morocco.<BR><B>METHODS: </B>We report three cases of hydatid cyst at unusual locations such as the peritoneum, and the retroperitoneum.<BR><B>CONCLUSIONS: </B>Hydatid disease usually involves the liver (75 %), the lungs (15.4 %), and the spleen (5.1 %). Almost any anatomic location can be the host site of the parasitic cysts.<BR><B>CONCLUSIONS: </B>Multiple locations of hydatid cyst often pose a problem of differential diagnosis. Surgery is the mainstay of treatment.
