This review examines the application of PET imaging in CAR T-cell trafficking and optimizing their therapeutic impact. The application of PET imaging using various radiotracers is promising in providing evaluation of CAR T-cell interaction within the host, thereby facilitating strategies for improved patient outcomes. As this technology progresses, further innovative strategies to streamline assessments of immunotherapeutic effectiveness are anticipated.
