It is also marked by notably elevated serum muscle enzyme levels and distinct histological features, setting it apart from other types of myositis. Moreover, acute chronic lung respiratory dysfunction is a major comorbidity of great concern. We herein present two cases of IMNM associated with anti-signal recognition particle antibodies complicated by acute respiratory distress syndrome.
