{Abstract}: Flap fixation is the most promising solution to prevent seroma formation after mastectomy. In this systematic review with network meta-analysis (NMA), three different techniques were compared. The NMA included 25 articles, comprising 3423 patients, and revealed that sutures are superior to tissue glue in preventing clinically significant seroma. In addition, running sutures seemed to be superior to interrupted sutures. An RCT comparing these suture techniques seems necessary, given the quality and nature of existing literature.
