PEC is a viable treatment alternative for patients who have failed conservative therapies and are deemed high risk for surgical management. We present a case of acute colonic pseudo-obstruction after Clostridioides difficile infection that was unresponsive to medical treatment or endoscopic decompression. A PEC tube was placed into the transverse colon with successful resolution of the colonic distension.
