Physical examination revealed swollen ankles and yellow, hyperkeratotic nails. HRCT showed bronchiectasis. This triad of symptoms indicates yellow nail syndrome. Vitamin E improved the yellow nails, while optimal expiration techniques alleviated respiratory symptoms.
