{Abstract}: Heart failure is a frequent pathology in the elderly. In particular, it is responsible for many hospitalizations. A distinction is made between chronic and acute forms of heart failure. The management of these forms of heart failure is well established, with treatment recommendations that are regularly updated on the basis of new studies.
