A set of self-folding, single-stranded RNA origami structures bearing thrombin RNA aptamers have been demonstrated to act as anticoagulants. Here, we describe the detailed methods of producing and testing of such RNA origami anticoagulants. This method highlights the potential of RNA origami for biomedical applications.
