We experienced a case in which a hydrochloric acid burn of the paranasal sinuses caused irreversible tissue damage. Computed tomography is useful for identifying the exposure site and assessing tissue damage over time. Identification of the exposure site and proactive washing are recommended for patients with chemical burns of the paranasal sinuses. Laryngoscope, 131:E2490-E2493, 2021.
