On physical examination nasal proliferative and ulcerative lesions and submandibular lymphadenopathy were identified. Cytology, histopathology, fungal culture, antigen serology and MALDI-TOF confirmed cryptococcal rhinitis with regional mandibular lymph node involvement due to Cryptococcus neoformans infection.
