{Abstract}: <B>METHODS: </B>We present a case of silicone oil migration trough the optic nerve in a diabetic patient with retinal detachment and review the etiologic mechanism and clinical implications.<BR><B>CONCLUSIONS: </B>Intracranial silicone oil migration is an uncommon complication associated with silicone oil tamponade.
