This can cause nasal obstruction. This paper presents the case of a 14-year old with craniometaphyseal dysplasia presenting with nasal obstruction successfully treated with turbinoplasty. A literature search was conducted using PUBMED and EMBASE. In conclusion, in cases of craniometaphyseal dysplasia with nasal obstruction conventional techniques such as submucosal diathermy and outfracturing of inferior turbinates may not be adequate. Bony turbinoplasties along the whole length of the inferior turbinate may be required.
