%X Tularemia is a widespread bacterial disease caused by Francisella tularensis. Iran is an endemic country for this zoonosis. In this report, we present a 2020 tularemia outbreak in a village in northwestern Iran involving 15 patients with the oropharyngeal form of the disease. This outbreak was probably linked to the consumption of contaminated drinking water.
