%X Distant metastasis of oral squamous cell carcinoma to skeletal muscles is an extremely rare entity and is an indicator of poor prognosis for the patient. We present a case of oral tongue squamous cell carcinoma that metastasized to the rectus abdominis muscle and clinically became symptomatic nine months after curative surgery of the primary.
