The most common radiological signs and how they are demonstrated in different modalities, as well as the typical patterns of involvement are analyzed, with the aim to facilitate the differential diagnosis. Early and adequate adjustment of treatment has an effect on outcome, and on this basis, early diagnosis and characterization are paramount to appropiately manage patients.
