%X Arteriovenous fistulae of the upper limbs are rare in the pediatric population. They can be caused by trauma, needle puncture, or other iatrogenic injuries. A 5-year-old boy presented with progressive swelling of the right hand, which was initially misinterpreted as an arteriovenous malformation based on his noninvasive diagnostic work-up. He was ultimately diagnosed with right brachiocephalic arteriovenous fistula by catheter angiography, and the fistula was then successfully treated with coil embolization. This article describes the relevant imaging findings and potential implications for treatment.
