The patient underwent vascular bypass surgery of the right lower limb, completed chemotherapy, and had a right scrotal orchiectomy. The patient had pre-existing vascular risk factors including peripheral vascular disease and smoking. To our knowledge this is the first published case in the literature that has described a large retroperitoneal seminoma compressing the abdominal aorta resulting in acute lower limb ischaemia.
