Biopsy of the mass was suggestive of a solitary fibrous tumour. The patient underwent a robotic-assisted laparoscopic excision of the left pelvic mass. Intraoperatively, the mass was found to be densely adhered to the ureter, necessitating a left distal ureterectomy and ureteric reimplantation. Subsequent histopathological analysis revealed the mass was a solitary fibrous tumour with no evidence of malignancy.
