Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) inhibitors are an established safe and effective treatment in adults, and use may be appropriate for pediatric patients in certain clinical situations. We describe migraine pathophysiology as it relates to CGRP, provide an overview of available medications, and discuss clinical usage in this population.
