Despite various therapeutic approaches yielding only partial results, regenerative treatments, such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), have gained popularity. However, the lack of standardized PRP practices, encompassing product preparation and application, has been a significant concern. This article aims to contribute to fill this gap by presenting a comprehensive overview of PRP practices at a large academic center. Through detailing our protocols, this work not only contributes to the understanding of AGA treatment but also emphasizes the crucial aspect of treatment standardization in the context of PRP therapy. By providing a practical representation of our institutional PRP practices, we aim to contribute to the ongoing discourse on refining and implementing standardized protocols, fostering reproducibility, and improving clinical outcomes in the management of AGA.
