The planar structure of 1 was established by extensive NMR spectroscopic and HRESIMS analyses, and the absolute configuration was elucidated by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 showed significant inhibitory effect on NO production in LPS-stimulated BV-2 macrophages with an IC50 value of 5.9 ± 0.3 μM. The Western blot result revealed that compound 1 exerted an anti-neuroinflammatory effect via the MAPK signalling pathway.
