Here, we present a protocol for applying these techniques to neurons in the medial entorhinal cortex (MEC) of mice. We detail steps to prepare brain slices containing MEC and perform simultaneous multiple whole-cell recordings, followed by procedures of histological staining and neuronal reconstruction.
