Leukemia is a malignant disease characterized by abnormal differentiation and proliferation of hematopoietic stem cells, thus seriously threating human health. In recent years, it has been found that the transformation, proliferation, metastasis and treatment response of leukemia cells are closely related to pyrodeath. Pyroptosis provides a new perspective for the study of leukemia. This paper reviews the types and molecular mechanisms of pyroptosis, the role of pyroptosis in the occurrence and development of leukemia and the treatment of leukemia, so as to provide some references for further study of the relationship between pyroptosis and leukemia, in order to provide a new strategy for the treatment of leukemia.
