Cutaneous Rosai-Dorfman disease(CRDD)is a rare variant of RDD with lesions localized to the skin. We report a case of patients with CRDD who was refractory to methotrexate, thalidomide, cyclosporine, glucocorticoid for local injection and external use, but resolved with fractional laser combined with 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT). We believe that fractional laser technology combined with ALA-PDT for CRDD is a minimally invasive, effective and satisfactory treatment.
