However, there are few cases of distant metastasis, especially to the spine, which are associated with significantly worse outcomes. Here, we present a 40-year-old male with back pain and weakness in both legs. The patient also complained of neck masses months prior to the neurological symptoms. On investigations, he was found to have multiple vertebral lesions with histopathology results of papillary thyroid carcinoma metastasis.
