%X Type 2 diabetes in the elderly remains a major concern for all healthcare professionals and is itself considered a "global pandemic". Its prevalence is high and will continue to increase in years to come, becoming more and more prevalent in the elderly and very elderly. We offer a general summary of the work focusing on the links between type 2 diabetes and geriatric criteria.
