We report a rare case of placental mesenchymal dysplasia diagnosed in a pregnancy with early symmetric fetal intrauterine growth restriction and a normal karyotype. Based on this case report, we discuss the particularities of this condition, emphasizing the ultrasonography and histopathological findings.
