%X Maxillary osteomyelitis is a rare disease, especially in the pediatric population. We present a case of maxillary osteomyelitis in an eight-year-old girl with favorable outcome. Diagnosis was based on magnetic resonance imaging as well as on direct inspection intra operatively. Treatment should be based primarily on clinical signs (e.g. loose teeth). Teeth should not been extracted if healthy.
