Skin biopsy revealed increased basal layer pigmentation without nevus cells. A diagnosis of progressive cribriform and zosteriform hyperpigmentation (PCZH) was made on clinicopathological correlation. We also discuss clinicopathological differentials of this peculiar pigmentary disorder.
